Independence day is an odd one for for an Englishman.
Fortunately my b-sides friends know how to celebrate "odd" professionally.
The 4th of July party in our local mountains is now a tradition.
A refreshing hour drive to our exclusive mountain top location with
under a hundred friends is a fine recipe for a national holiday.

The morning Costume
This is an old b-sides tradition, almost as a form of dueling between
tweaked out
partiers welcoming the the new day with obscene garish garments. In
the early days they may have taken the
form of bright tacky Hawaiian shirts , but as the years progressed
so did people's imagination with their
morning attire. We have see various people in stranger and stranger
garb. There was Ron and Holly
dressed as matching bunnies, Brett in full "wonderbred/bread"
costume, Steph, Angie, Lauren and Tab in various
beautiful gowns, Heather the queen of morning outfits (or is that me?),
Brad who often defies description and then there is Ron.
Ron who on this morning decided to take this art form to a new level,
to kick it up a notch, part zen like
in it's minimalism, modernist in it's concept as well as invoking romantic
ideals with it's maritime theme,
whilst being sexy and depraved a the same time.
The key to a great morning outfit is 90% attitude 10% insanity in clothing
choice.
